Koh Lanta lies in the Andaman Sea off the west coast of Southern Thailand, just only 70 km from the mainland of Krabi Province. Koh Lanta is a quiet island with a slow and relaxed pace. It has great beaches, stunning sunsets, fantastic diving, some of Thailand’s best snorkeling and friendly people not yet jaded by mass tourism. The island is also covered with forested hills sweeping down to numerous sandy bays on the western side. It is a good alternative for those seeking peace and quiet.
