Popularly known as the Rose of the North, Chiang Mai, a 750 kilometers north of Bangkok, is blessed with stunning natural beauty. The northern hills and mountains are home to Thailand‘s hill tribes and their very own way of life. Chiang Mai became the center of the Lanna Kingdom 700 years ago and till today you find more than 1.000 hill tribe villages in this province. The terrain is mainly mountainous and covered by jungle, parts of which are within national parks which are still fertile and verdant with plentiful flora and fauna.

| Day 1 |
Arrival in Chiang Mai
Arrive at Chiang Mai and transfer from airport or railway station to the hotel in Chiang Mai.

| Day 2 |
Chiang Mai
Breakfast at hotel. Fullday Lisu Lodge Aventure with lunch. Early in the morning, pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai by a local truck (songtaew) to the Lisu Lodge, you will reach after an hour. Upon arrival at the Lisu Lodge, a traditional welcome drink is served. Start your adventure with cycling about 13 km.to the Mae Tang Elephant Camp; enjoy an hour’s elephant ride through the beautiful mountainous jungle to end up by the river. Have a picnic lunch by the riverbank. After lunch, you have a chance to do 45 minutes white water rafting on an inflatable raft followed by a short drive to an Akha village for a visit. Then you have the choice either to go back to the Lisu Lodge by bike or by the local truck. Time at leisure until transfer back to your hotel.
